Bukayo Saka shares excitement at opportunity to ‘create history’ against PSG | OneFootball

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has shared his excitement at the chance for the Gunners to create history and win the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.

Arsenal go up against PSG in the final. The French side are the reigning champions, beating Inter Milan 5-0 in the final last year.

On his excitement ahead of the game, Saka said: “This last week has made it all feel real. Tomorrow, I’m very excited about the opportunity to win another trophy and create history for the club.

“I think we have enough fire going into the game tomorrow. We know the history of the club, and we know that tomorrow we have the chance to make history by winning it for the first time as players. That alone is a huge motivation for us.”

Arsenal are riding a wave of positivity after winning the league last week, and Saka said he knows how much this means to the fans.

“Personally, I know exactly what it means to them. I have been here on this journey loving this club, seeing the ups and seeing the downs. We felt it when we won the Premier League and how much it meant to the supporters. 

“We saw loads of videos and I think the parade is going to be the first time we see a mass gathering of all the Arsenal fans. 

“We are all excited, but at the same time we are trying to stay focused on this game. It is a massive opportunity to do something special. It will probably make the parade more crazy.”
