Bundesliga duo monitor Southampton’s Caspar Jander | OneFootball

Florian Plettenberg reports that RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart are monitoring Caspar Jander’s situation as Championship side Southampton.

Ajax and Premier League clubs are also interested in signing the 22-year-old who, per Plettenberg, is ready to take his next step in the summer with the German midfielder currently valued between €15m and €25m.

Jander, who has a contract until 2028, joined Southampton in August 2025 for €12m, and has played 29 games across all competitions for the Saints, returning two goals.

With Kevin Kampl’s departure last month and Xaver Schlager deciding against extending his contract beyond the summer, Leipzig are in need of midfield reinforcements. However, Die Roten Bullen have also identified Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Rocco Reitz as a target for the summer, with the Saxony club on the verge securing his signing.

When it comes to Stuttgart, they were one of several clubs interested in signing Jander during the summer.
