Bundesliga matchday 18: Eintracht sack Toppmöller as Hoffenheim climb to third and late winners abound | OneFootball

Matchday 18 capped a breathless Englische Woche, with late drama, a dismissal and a tightening relegation fight. As reported by Get German Football News, Eintracht sacked Dino Toppmöller and Hoffenheim climbed to third.

Eintracht acted after a 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen on Friday, when Ansgar Knauff made it 3-3 in the 94th minute. Niko Kovač spoke of the drama and admitted the game should have been sealed earlier. He added the win makes their London trip easier.

Bayern Munich hit five after the break to overturn 1-0 at RB Leipzig, Micheal Olise with the pick, and Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane, Jonathan Tah and Aleksander Pavlovic also scoring, as Jamal Musiala returned. Köln beat Mainz 05 2-1, and there were draws between Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim, Hamburg and Gladbach, Stuttgart and Union Berlin, and Augsburg and Freiburg.
