This Sunday sees the continuation of the second-leg matches in the round of 32 of the CAF Champions League for the 2025-2026 season. Clubs are locked in fierce battles to secure their spots in the group stage and keep their continental title dreams alive.
So far, nine teams have officially booked their tickets to the group stage, while the remaining places are still up for grabs.
Al Ahly, the record-holding club with 12 African Champions League titles, sealed their qualification after defeating Eagle Noir with a 2-0 aggregate score.
The teams qualified for the group stage (so far):
Al Ahly (Egypt), Al-Hilal (Sudan), Young Africans (Tanzania), Petro de Luanda (Angola), AS FAR (Morocco), Rivers United (Nigeria), JS Kabylie (Algeria), Saint-Éloi Lupopo (DR Congo), Power Dynamos (Zambia).
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled the group stage draws for both competitions—the Champions League and the Confederation Cup—for Monday, November 3, for the 2025-2026 season.
The event will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the SuperSport studios, the CAF’s official broadcast partner.
The ceremony will kick off at 11:00 am (Greenwich Mean Time) and will be broadcast live across all official CAF platforms.
