Carlo Ancelotti names 26 players to chase a sixth World Cup

Coach Carlo Ancelotti announced this Monday (18) the 26 players who will represent the Brazilian National Team at the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, in June and July of this year. He read out each name during an event held at the Museum of Tomorrow, in the port area of Rio de Janeiro.

The selected players will begin reporting to Ancelotti on May 27 at the CBF training camp at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis, in Rio’s mountain region. On May 31, the Seleção will play a friendly against Panama at the Maracanã, a match that will mark the team’s farewell.

The trip to the United States will take place the following day, June 1. In the North American country, the Brazilian National Team will have another friendly: they will face Egypt on June 6 in Cleveland.

Brazil’s World Cup debut will be on June 13 against Morocco in New Jersey. Then, still in the group stage, they will play Haiti on June 19 in Philadelphia and Scotland on June 24 in Miami.
