CBF confirms date for Copa do Brasil last-16 draw | OneFootball

The federation announced that the Copa do Brasil last-16 draw will take place on 26 May at 11:00 Brasília time at its Rio de Janeiro headquarters, with live coverage on CBF TV via YouTube.

Santos secured their spot on Wednesday by beating Coritiba 2-0 at Couto Pereira. Gabriel Bontempo and Adonis Frías scored.

So far, 10 clubs have confirmed their places: Internacional, Fluminense, Juventude, Atlético Mineiro, Santos, Cruzeiro, Palmeiras, Mirassol, Remo and Vasco da Gama.

The remaining six places will be settled on Thursday, when 12 clubs play fifth-phase ties: Chapecoense v Botafogo, Atlético Goianiense v Athletico Paranaense, Confiança v Grêmio, Corinthians v Barra, CRB v Fortaleza, and Vitória v Flamengo.

The last-16 matches are scheduled for the first week of August, after a pause in the national calendar for the World Cup.
