CD Castellón began online renewals yesterday and, in parallel, unveiled a build-your-own corporate hospitality scheme for companies. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the club is again close to a season-ticket sell-out.
Inspired by European models, the initiative lets sponsors assemble bespoke packages. Using what the club calls a toppings system, firms start with a premium seat then add products and services to fit their aims.
A company secures Tribuna Baja or Palco Presidencial seats, then layers options such as social media giveaways, VIP room reservations for corporate events, or private meet and greets with first-team players.
Based at SkyFi Castalia, the programme seeks to turn matchday into a business tool for the province’s firms. The club cites premium models at AZ Alkmaar and FC Sochaux, extending relationships beyond the 90 minutes.
Chief executive Alberto González says the approach is more flexible and personalised because every business is different. He adds that the minimum seat requirement has been lowered, opening access for smaller firms to higher-tier services.
One example mixes two box seats with a club-run social draw, a midweek VIP Area booking for clients, minutes on UTV with national reach, and a season-ending photo session. Companies choose what to add and pay only for it.
Around these seats, the Club de Empresas operates as a networking hub with priority access to events and the club’s institutional life. The campaign is under way and the club is confident of a sell-out in these areas, after 100% VIP occupancy last season.
