Chelsea contact Como for Trevoh Chalobah’s sale, Inter on stand-by | OneFootball

Serie A side Inter have been pursuing a move for Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah but the move is currently on stand-by.

Get Italian Football News have looked at how Como and Inter have spoken to each other rather cordially about the defender. This led to the lakeside club clarifying that they won’t create an auction, as they silently moved away.

Alfredo Pedulla has now reported that Chelsea could be desperate for the player’s sale. Inter, troubled by the failure to sign Anan Khalaili, are focusing on the wing-back role and have put the idea of signing Chalobah on hold.

This has led to the Blues coming in contact with Como again, to know if they want to proceed with a move. But Cesc Fabregas’ side remain in the background and are preparing to move for ex-Tottenham player Davinson Sanchez instead.

Both clubs likely to seek discount

Knowing the finances in Serie A and how they operate, it is easy to suggest that Inter and Como will ideally seek a discount from Chelsea. This should be a sign for the Blues to seek buyers in England, especially as Chalobah has had loan spells in the Premier League already.
