Eintracht Frankfurt must offload Crystal Palace target Tuta before they can move for Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ko Itakura, who they are now favourites for.
The Eagles have shown themselves to be shrewd operators in the transfer market in recent years and brought in big money from selling Omar Marmoush to Manchester City.
Hugo Ekitike could potentially follow him out of the door this summer amid interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Defender Tuta is a wanted man, with Crystal Palace keen, alongside Real Betis and Fenerbahce.
Eintracht Frankfurt have set the price at €15m and need to conclude the sale to proceed for Itakura, according to German outlet Fussball Transfers.

The Bundesliga side are currently the favourites to land Itakura, who has a release clause of between €10m and €12m.
Itakura has also interested Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
Tuta, 25, is a player that Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner knows well, having managed him at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The centre-back made 44 appearances across all competitions for Eintracht Frankfurt in the recent season.
Tuta was though booked on eight occasions in the Bundesliga and Glasner will likely want him to increase his discipline if he does move to Selhurst Park.

He also clocked eleven outings in the Europa League and given Palace are in the competition next season, Glasner would welcome his experience in the Selhurst dressing room.
