Over the past month, FC Barcelona have been dealt with multiple injury blows – Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Lamine Yamal, and Fermin Lopez have all been sidelined.
Meanwhile, Frenkie de Jong and Pedro Fernandez ‘Dro’ were also dealt with minor issues, from which they have since recovered.
Now, adding to the list is another casualty in the form of winger Raphinha.
Indeed, according to Mundo Deportivo, Raphinha is suffering from discomfort in his right hamstring, leading to some concerns over his condition at Barcelona.
The Brazilian international left the pitch early on Thursday at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium against Real Oviedo, coming off in the 66th minute, when he was replaced by Robert Lewandowski, who scored a goal.
As he came off, Raphinha clutched the back of his thigh. With plenty of attacking options available on the bench, Hansi Flick chose not to take any risks and withdrew him.

Following a brief exchange between the pair, the winger headed straight to the dressing room for assessment.
For now, pending medical tests, Raphinha is dealing with discomfort in his hamstring. Although the issue does not appear to be serious, Barcelona are adopting a cautious stance, given the player’s injury history.
September is a particularly congested month, and the Brazilian may now be feeling the effects of such a heavy workload. In addition to Barça’s fixtures, he featured for Brazil during the international break.
Looking ahead, Barça host Real Sociedad this Sunday before taking on PSG in the Champions League at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys just three days later.
If it turns out to be nothing more than minor discomfort, Flick could rest Raphinha against the Basque club to preserve him for the high-profile clash with Luis Enrique’s side.
