Corberán oversees Valencia’s first Girona session | OneFootball

Carlos Corberán took charge of his first Valencia training session this morning at the Royalverd complex in La Garrotxa, Girona.

According to AS, the squad had an initial feel for the pitches and will work again this afternoon at the same venue.

Sessions there will continue until Friday, with the first pre-season friendly set for Saturday against Petro Luanda of Angola, which the club view as a training match.

The group were otherwise complete, with only Foulquier working apart after travelling to Girona.

Injuries kept Diego López, Copete, Alberto Marí and Sergi Canós in Paterna. Cenk Ozcakar also remained in Valencia as he is finalising his departure for Germany.

Academy player Lucas Núñez also stayed in Paterna with discomfort.
