Corentin Tolisso could extend Lyon stay until 2029 | OneFootball

Olympique Lyonnais appear to be nearing a two-year extension for captain Corentin Tolisso. According to Le Progres, talks are progressing.

The proposed deal would add two seasons to his terms, running until June 2029, with his current contract set to expire in 2027.

Any agreement would come off the back of a consistently strong campaign for the Tarare-born midfielder. Despite missing out on the World Cup, he played 34 times in all competitions last season.

He delivered 7 Ligue 1 goals and 4 assists, his best return since his summer 2022 comeback to Lyon.

With Lyon’s recruitment seemingly centred on youth, retaining Tolisso would underline a desire to balance that with experience in the close-season.
