According to Globo.com, Corinthians are considering bringing forward up to 30% of 2027 revenues under a club statute to steady cash flow amid the risk of no player sales this window.
The club face three transfer bans, two from Fifa and one from the CBF, owe one month of image rights and are late with holiday pay and bonuses. Despite paying the first five RCE instalments, the balance rose to R$ 237.4 million.
With three weeks left in the window, there have been no bids for key players. The board is exploring ways to stay current.
In recent financial reports, president Osmar Stabile forecast raising 25 million euros from player sales in 2026. He said deficits in the first four months were mainly due to the absence of that transfer income.
The mechanism complies with the Lei Geral do Esporte and sits in article 117 of the current statute. It does not require a Cori opinion or a vote in the Conselho Deliberativo.
It lets the sitting board commit part of revenues from the first year of the next mandate. With elections due in November, the internal view is that Stabile is covered.
This year’s budgeted revenue, excluding player sales, is R$ 806 million. Any advance would be set against the 2027 budget, which is yet to be presented. The club also has receivables from commercial partners.
