Corinthians expect Breno Bidon to face Portuguesa as caution remains over Kaio César | OneFootball

Corinthians expect midfielder Breno Bidon to be available to Dorival Júnior against Portuguesa on Sunday, in the Campeonato Paulista quarter-finals at Canindé, kick-off 20:30 Brasília time.

According to Globo.com, Bidon has recovered from a right hamstring strain, been cleared by the medical staff and returned to full training at CT Joaquim Grava. He turns 21 on Friday and has scored two goals this season.

He sustained the injury in the derby with Palmeiras on 8 February, then missed the next three games against Red Bull Bragantino, São Bernardo and Athletico-PR.

Kaio César has begun physical transition work at the training ground, but is not yet ready to return.

The club’s medical department is taking a cautious approach, as the forward played for Al Hilal in recent seasons and is still adapting to the pace of Brazilian football.
