According to Meu Timao, a supporter poll backed a new deal for André Carrillo, although opinion was split.
The 35-year-old midfielder is in the final months of his contract after joining in mid-2024 on a deal through this season. In the vote, 55.6% wanted him to stay for 2027 and 44.4% preferred he moved on.
He has made 96 appearances and scored only three goals, against Universidad Central of Venezuela and Barcelona de Guayaquil in the Libertadores, plus Fortaleza in the Brasileirão.
He started both legs of the 2026 Paulistão final against Palmeiras and the 2026 Supercopa Rei against Flamengo, while in last season’s Copa do Brasil he came off the bench in both ties with Vasco da Gama.
He was the last to report at CT Joaquim Grava, given four extra days off after June international duty. He played 60 minutes in a 2-1 win over Haiti and 30 in a 3-1 loss to Spain.
Memphis Depay is the only player yet to return after the Netherlands' World Cup run ended on penalties to Morocco last Monday. The number 10 has a few days off and no return date yet.
Corinthians meet Cascavel in a friendly on the 12th at Estádio Olímpico Regional Jacy Miguel Scanagatta in Paraná. Their first competitive game is on 23 July against Remo at Neo Química Arena, the 19th round of the Brasileirão.
