Corinthians hit with STJD sanctions, Arena fund management switch and Vitória without Cacá | OneFootball

A busy Friday for Corinthians brought sanctions from the STJD, an administrative change concerning the Arena’s finances and news that Vitória will be without loanee Cacá.

The club said it has finalised the change of companies responsible for managing and administering the funds linked to Neo Química Arena.

After disturbance at the last Dérbi, Corinthians were punished with the loss of one home match and a fine of R$ 112,000.

Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho and André Luiz were also suspended.

For the meeting with Corinthians, Vitória will be without centre-back Cacá, who belongs to the São Paulo side and is on loan until the end of the season, with a compulsory purchase clause.
