Corinthians receive Pedro Raul loan enquiries and set condition for deal | OneFootball

Corinthians have received loan enquiries for 29-year-old striker Pedro Raul, who has largely been used from the bench by Dorival Júnior. According to Meu Timao, the club will only sanction a move if any suitor covers the player’s wages in full.

Vitória are among the clubs exploring a deal, though they view talks as difficult given the salary involved and Corinthians’ refusal to split costs. Vegettoria on X first reported the interest and the wage hurdle. Vitória already have defender Cacá on loan from Corinthians, with the Bahia side paying his wages in full.

Remo have also made an enquiry, according to journalist Bianca Molina. The transfer window closes on 27 March, and under updated rules he can play up to 12 Brasileirão matches for Corinthians before moving. He has four league appearances so far this season.

Pedro Raul joined in February 2024 under then president Augusto Melo on a deal to 31 December 2028. Corinthians bought 100% of his rights for US$ 5 million, around R$ 24.5 million at the time, payable in four instalments across 2024 and 2025.

After delays to the 2024 instalments and amid the risk of a transfer ban, the agreement was renegotiated. The operation rose to at least US$ 8 million, around R$ 42.8 million, spread over nine instalments from 2025 to 2028.

He scored three in 33 games in 2024, then one in three at the start of 2025 before a loan to Ceará. He netted the goal that sealed Ceará’s Campeonato Cearense title in a 1-1 draw with Fortaleza, and finished 2025 with 18 goals in 51 matches across both clubs. During that loan, Ceará paid 50% of his wages.

In 2026 he has 12 outings, no goals and one assist, mostly as a late substitute. Corinthians visit Chapecoense at Arena Condá on Thursday at 21:30 in round seven.
