Corinthians share new images as Neo Química Arena cleaning progresses | OneFootball

Corinthians have released new images of cleaning work on the Neo Química Arena roof. The club said the full clean is expected to be completed in November.

Workers from the contracted company are washing the stadium's glass and removing dirt from the roof.

The project covers the entire exterior, including the roof and facades, plus all internal areas such as stands, corridors, hospitality boxes and other facilities. It also includes replacing light bulbs in the atrium.

The job had been scheduled to start earlier, but bureaucracy around appointing the contractor, setting the budget and signing the deal delayed the launch.

A safety certificate was also required before staff could work inside the stadium.

Corinthians are due back at the venue on 23 July to face Remo as the Campeonato Brasileiro resumes.
