The CBF will stage a draw on Friday to decide the home team for the Supercopa Feminina between Corinthians and Palmeiras, with the date expected to be moved to seven February.
The federation opted for a draw to keep the match in São Paulo. According to Meu Timao, Palmeiras president Leila Pereira is said to have vetoed playing in Manaus, where both sets of fans could have attended.
The draw is scheduled for Friday afternoon in Rio de Janeiro, with Iris Sesso, Corinthians' women's football director, and a Palmeiras representative attending. The CBF will not broadcast the event.
In São Paulo, a ruling from the Public Prosecutor's Office, adopted by the FPF since 2016, bans rival fans at derbies. The home team will therefore play with only their supporters present.
Corinthians qualified as 2025 Brasileiro champions, lifting the title in September after a final against Cruzeiro. Palmeiras reached the decider as the most recent Copa do Brasil winners after beating Ferroviária.
From 2026 the Supercopa Feminina switches to a single match between the league and cup champions, replacing the previous eight-team knockout. As Brabas are three-time winners, in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and were runners-up in 2025 after losing to São Paulo on penalties following a goalless draw at Morumbis.
