The Gunners had the dream start to the final against Paris Saint-Germain as the deadlock was broken inside the opening six minutes, while they were then able to keep Luis Enrique's side at arms length for the remainder of the first half.

That said, it could have been a different story had handball decisions not gone in their favour.

In the build-up to the opening goal, Marquinhos struck the ball onto Leandro Trossard's arm before it deflected into Havertz' path.

Then, 10 minutes later, an attempted clearance from Bukayo Saka ended up striking his hand - but once again, nothing was given.

The referee had a good view of the incident, but decided not to give it. VAR didn't intervene.

Did the ref get it right?
