Crans-Montana fire: Tahirys Dos Santos back on the pitch four months on | OneFootball

Four months after the Crans-Montana fire, FC Metz defender Tahirys Dos Santos is back on the pitch.

Républicain Lorrain reports that the 19-year-old has been out on the grass again. He also posted a photo, ball at his feet, captioned 'In progress...'.

Dos Santos suffered burns to 30% of his body in the Le Constellation bar blaze on the night of 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, which left 41 dead and 115 injured.

He had gone back into the flames to rescue his girlfriend, Coline.

He was initially hospitalised in Stuttgart, Germany, before being transferred on 6 January to the burns unit at CHR Metz-Thionville in Mercy. His return offers hope for the next steps in his career.
