All the latest transfer news surrounding West Ham's Crysencio Summerville
West Ham are facing the prospect of losing a number of key players this summer after Mateus Fernandes was sold to Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder made the switch to their London rivals in a deal worth £85 million, just 12 months on from his original signing for the Hammers.
And the likes of Aaron Wan Bissaka and Crysencio Summerville could yet follow him out the door before the transfer window shuts on 1 September.
Relegation from the Premier League has fuelled speculation of their departures, but it remains to be seen what the future holds.
Summerville joined the London outfit from West Ham in the 2024 summer transfer window in a deal worth around £25 million.
But here we look at all the latest transfer news surrounding the Dutch international…

It has been reported by Caught Offside that Liverpool are the latest team to join the race to sign Summerville.
The Reds have appointed Andoni Iraola as their new head coach, and will be seeking attacking reinforcements this summer.
The Premier League side were originally linked with Yan Diomandé, but his preference is to potentially sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
This has led Liverpool to turn their attention to the West Ham star, who contributed five goals and two assists from 31 appearances in the top flight last season.

Manchester United initially emerged as the front-runners to secure the 24-year-old’s signature in the immediate aftermath of West Ham’s relegation.
It was reported earlier this month by journalist Ben Jacobs that the two clubs have now made contact over a possible move.
It’s believed that talks are still in an exploratory phase, with no guarantee of a deal being completed for the player.
Any move for Summerville to Man United will also be contingent on Marcus Rashford securing his exit from Old Trafford following his return from a loan spell with Barcelona.

It has been reported by Teamtalk that relegation from the Premier League has reduced the size of a release clause in Summerville’s contract.
It’s believed that he was available for £70 million as part of the terms of the contract he signed when joining from Leeds two years ago.
However, this clause has been reduced to £40 million as a direct consequence of suffering the drop to the Championship.
But it’s expected that any deal for Summerville is likely to exceed this figure, as clubs will want to avoid paying it all in one go, as would be necessary for meeting a release clause.

According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea are seeking a swap deal with West Ham to sign Summerville.
It’s been claimed that the Blues have made contact with the Hammers, with the club looking for a possible replacement to Alejandro Garnacho.
However, it is unclear which player the Premier League club would like to use as a makeweight in any swap deal.
It also remains unknown what Summerville’s preference will be, with a number of teams now chasing his signature.
