Crystal Palace face a late call on Daniel Muñoz for Sunday’s meeting with Leeds United, while Eddie Nketiah will not return until after the international break.

Oliver Glasner spoke after Thursday’s 0-0 Conference League draw with AEK Larnaca at Selhurst Park. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Muñoz missed that tie having hurt his shoulder against Tottenham Hotspur last week, and a decision is set to come after training, with the head coach hopeful given the defender’s high pain tolerance.

Jean-Philippe Mateta made his comeback this week following a lengthy knee lay-off, his proposed January move to Juventus having fallen through because of the injury. He came off the bench on Thursday to replace Jorgen Strand Larsen, whom Leeds tried to sign in January before Wolves sold him to Palace, whose offer exceeded what the Whites would pay.

Glasner says Mateta’s minutes will be managed. With only one league fixture and one Conference League game this month, Palace plan to drip-feed him time now, then use the three-week window to build fitness. He does not currently expect a France call-up and stressed the away leg with Larnaca will be tricky, while hoping to have Mateta ready for longer stints.

Christantus Uche is available. Glasner added that having more players back should help the squad.
