Toulouse FC defender Charlie Cresswell (23), the subject of interest from Crystal Palace, has agreed personal terms with Stade Rennais, according to a report from Ouest-France.
Crystal Palace hold an interest in the England youth international, who left formative club Leeds United back in 2024. Since arriving in France, the centre-back has thrived and he is now strongly linked with a return to his native England.
He is notably a target for Crystal Palace, who may be in the market for a replacement for Maxence Lacroix, a target for Chelsea.
However, Cresswell has now reached an agreement on personal terms with Rennes, Ouest-France understand. However, what may prove more difficult is reaching an agreement with his club, Toulouse.
Le TéFéCé are once again looking to raise significant funds through player sales this summer and are demanding a €25m fee for the defender. It is a significant sum, even if Les Rennais will return to European competition next season.
