Chelsea will entertain Manchester City at Stamford Bridge this Sunday as they look to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Blues managed to secure a dominant 7-0 win over Port Vale recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game.

Liam Rosenior will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Marc Cucurella and Moises Caicedo could both play from the start of this game.

Defence

Robert Sanchez will feature in between the sticks for the Blues after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Wesley Fofana will function alongside Tosin Adarabioyo at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they look to keep a solid shape when defending inside their half.

Malo Gusto will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella looks to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Josh Acheampong will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo will anchor the midfield along with Andrey Santos as they focus on making life tough for Man City at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.

The gifted trio of Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer and Estevao will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Blues are to cause some problems for the opposition centre-backs during the game.

Romeo Lavia and Alejandro Garnacho will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Joao Pedro will lead the line for the West London club up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Liam Delap will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter of the game if required.
