Daniel Farke does not expect Leeds United to add in the first week of the window and has warned against a revolving door at Elland Road this month.
According to Leeds Live, Leeds have reached their PSR limit and must tread carefully. Loans are likely to be explored, and any spending would need to be offset by the end of June, the close of the current PSR cycle.
Farke has not made a permanent January signing in his two winters in charge. Connor Roberts arrived on loan in 2024, and the manager wants only the right characters who accept that minutes must be earned.
The club expect a quiet window rather than a silent one, with scope to act if opportunities arise. Even so, Farke has cooled talk of rapid deals in the opening days.
He said discussions would be parked until after the FA Cup tie. He added that nothing will happen before the Man U game on Sunday or the Newcastle fixture next Wednesday, with full focus on those matches.
Farke does not plan to lose any senior player this month, insisting each is part of his plans. Younger players, including Harry Gray, could head out on loan for senior experience.
