Leeds United entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at Elland Road earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin finally broke the deadlock in injury time as the Yorkshire club secured a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Seagulls.
Darlow made a few solid saves at the back and did well to secure the clean sheet this afternoon.
CB: Joe Rodon – 7/10
He cleared the danger when he could and was a strong presence in the air.
CB: Jaka Bijol – 7/10
Bijol put his foot through the ball when needed and deserves credit for earning the shutout.
CB: Sebastiaan Bornauw – 7/10
He performed his defensive duties well and was tidy with his passing.
