Zachary Sapsford struck in the 61st minute with a right-footed finish from the left side of the box as Dundee Utd beat Celtic 2-1.
His winner came after a corner when the forward pounced on Amar Fatah's headed pass, steering low across Kasper Schmeichel from a tight angle to turn the night United's way.
He stayed busy after the breakthrough, sliding Fatah in for another opening that Schmeichel parried (77.) as the Bhoys retreated under pressure.
Sapsford finished with three attempts, two on target, plus two key passes and five touches in the box, a neat snapshot of his penalty area instincts and link play.
Those movements, allied to The Arabs' aggressive second phase work from corners, repeatedly unsettled the Hoops' back line and kept Celtic pinned in their own third.
United sit eighth in the Premiership and host Hibernian next. The Hoops remain second and welcome Aberdeen next.
