Dani de Wit settled the game in the 86th minute with a close-range finish, as Utrecht beat NAC Breda 2-0.

He timed his run to meet Jesper Karlsson's cross from a set piece, stealing into space to prod home. After a VAR check, the goal stood.

The midfielder mixed timing with graft. He won eight possessions, five aerial duels and all three of his tackles, and logged four touches in the box to stay a constant threat.

De Wit's strike calmed the finale and pinned the visitors back, with the hosts adding a clincher in the ninth minute of second half stoppage time. His late movement repeatedly asked questions as crosses kept arriving.
