Sem van Duijn turned the game in the 72nd minute with a composed finish to set Telstar on their way to a 4-1 win over Sparta Rotterdam.

He ghosted into the centre of the box to sweep in Tyrone Owusu's pass (72.). The forward had been lively between the lines and took that chance cleanly.

He then struck again from a tight angle on the left, racing onto a through ball from Cedric Hatenboer before drilling low into the far corner (78.). He was withdrawn late on to warm applause (87.).

Van Duijn finished with three attempts, two on target, and six touches in the box, underlining his penalty area presence. He also won four aerial duels and eight possessions, grafting as the first defender.

Because Telstar found him early in the inside left channel and fed runners around him, his timing and movement kept Sparta Rotterdam's back line on edge throughout the decisive spell.

Telstar rise from 16th to 14th and visit NEC Nijmegen next. Sparta Rotterdam remain 10th and host Go Ahead Eagles next.
