Dejan Lovren and PAOK to play for fans against OL after tragedy | OneFootball

PAOK coach Razvan Lucescu and former Lyon defender Dejan Lovren have expressed deep sympathy for the club’s supporters who died while travelling to Lyon on Tuesday.

According to Le Progres, seven PAOK supporters were killed on a road in Romania as they made their way to Lyon.

Lucescu said this is one of the hardest moments for the PAOK family and that football feels secondary. The delegation reached Lyon at around 19:30.

He and Lovren indicated the team will try to turn their sadness into motivation when they face OL.

PAOK face OL in the Europa League on Thursday.
