Liverpool have been handed a boost in their chase for two elite talents emerging at Brazilian giants Palmeiras.
In January it was reported that Allan, 21, would be arriving in summer for around £30m - but the trail has admittedly gone a little cold since then.
And in recent days it’s been claimed that the Premier League champions are in the hunt for 16-year-old prodigy Eduardo Conceicao. The forward has not even played for the first team yet but is seen as the biggest coming talent in Brazilian football.
The co-ordinator of the Palmeiras youth academy, Joao Paulo Sampaio, was recently interviewed by ESPN’s Fala a Fonte programme and confirmed plans are in place to cash in on BOTH talents.
“Allan is on that list because an offer of 30 to 35 million euros has already arrived. It will certainly be a great sale,” he said as reported by Somos Fanaticos.
It’s also been suggested that Napoli - and not Liverpool were the European team to test the waters for Allan.
“We have a 16-year-old boy from our youth academy, Eduardo… We’ve also already received two offers of 20 to 25 million euros, excluding bonuses,” he said of Eduardo Conceicao.
That means that Liverpool could seal a sensational double deal for two of Brazil’s brightest prospects for a fee in the region of £50m.
Eduardo Conceição is a 16-year-old right-footed forward for Palmeiras’ U20s, typically operating off the left as an inside forward but comfortable across the frontline.
He broke out at the 2026 Copinha, where his mix of goals, assists and showpiece actions pushed him into the national spotlight.
He is a high‑volume dribbler with sharp changes of direction, quick feet and confidence in 1v1s, often attacking from the half‑space to combine or finish.
There is variety in his end product – chips, placed finishes and disguise on the final ball – and he profiles more as a creator‑scorer than a pure penalty‑box nine at this stage.
Palmeiras handed him a first professional contract shortly after he turned 16, running to 2029 with a reported nine‑figure euro clause and a large percentage of his rights retained.
The club view him as the next Endrick/Estevão‑style asset, making a near‑term European move unlikely without a huge offer.
Allan is a 21-year-old left-footed midfielder/winger who has become one of Abel Ferreira’s most useful “coringas” in Palmeiras’ first team.
He stands at around 1.75m and brings intensity, mobility and versatility, having been used as second volante, wide midfielder, wing-back and winger across both flanks.
His game is built on work rate, pressing and reading of space, but he also offers vertical passing and carries that connect defence to attack, with growing output in goals and assists through 2025.
Allan is a Palmeiras academy product, at the club since the U15s, and was promoted to the professional squad in early 2025.
He renewed his contract in mid‑2025, extending it to 31 December 2029, underlining the club’s view of him as a pillar in the squad.
