PSG has just announced a major decision regarding their right-back, Achraf Hakimi.

On Sunday, just hours after their impressive victory over Stade Brestois, PSG decided to give Achraf Hakimi some much-needed rest. The Moroccan international, who scored a brace yesterday, will have time to recover. The club from the capital has stated that the Moroccan right-back will be rested until next Thursday, in agreement with the sporting management and technical staff. This precautionary measure comes for a player who has been playing back-to-back matches for over two years without a real break.

Achraf Hakimi will therefore miss the trip to Lorient on Wednesday for the 10th round of Ligue 1. In his absence, Luis Enrique is expected to shift Warren Zaïre-Emery to the right flank. Hakimi will return for the upcoming matches against Nice, Bayern Munich, and Olympique Lyonnais before the international break.
