Dino Toppmöller’s side will face a stern test in the days leading up to their first competitive game of the new season when they play well-established English side Fulham on Saturday 9 August. The friendly will take place at Fulham’s historic home, Craven Cottage, and will get under way at 18:00 CEST (17:00 local time). The game will be broadcast live on EintrachtTV+.

The meeting with Fulham represents the Eagles’ final big test of their summer preparations as well as their dress rehearsal for the first round of the 2025/26 DFB Cup, which is being held between 15 and 18 August.

Established Premier League side

Founded in 1879, Fulham Football Club are one of London’s most well-established outfits. The Cottagers, who have been coached by Marco Silva since July 2021, finished 11th in the Premier League last season – safely in mid-table. The west London side play their home games at the 25,700-capacity Craven Cottage, which is located right on the banks of the River Thames. The game promises to be one of the main highlights of the Eagles’ preparations for the 2025/26 campaign.

Tough pre-season with international focus

The trip to London is merely a part of Eintracht’s international pre-season preparations. After a rigorous training camp in the USA, which includes friendlies against Louisville City and Philadelphia Union, the game against Fulham will be the Eagles’ third pre-season test against foreign opposition.
