El Fadrí bell tower looks skyward in black and white as Castellón’s promotion push grips the city. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, a large club flag now hangs from the monument, carrying the slogan “¿Y si sí?” ahead of a decisive date with Eibar for a place in the play-offs.
The gesture has turned El Fadrí into a beacon for Pablo Hernández’s side, with Castellón awash in club colours. Sky Castalia and the streets are pulling in the same direction as excitement builds.
Supporters’ group Fondo 1922 has called fans to gather on Sunday at 16.30 on Calle Huesca, next to SkyFi Castalia, to welcome the team bus. A huge turnout is expected.
Fans have been asked to bring paper slips, confetti, balloons and toilet roll to add colour and noise. The aim is to start the match from the street and give the players an early surge of energy.
After the bus welcome, the club has requested everyone head inside for the warm-up. The plan is for the squad to step out to a packed stadium and a big-match atmosphere well before kick-off.
