Emirates ‘to remove’ Fly Better from shirts, Benfica 2026/27 kit unchanged | OneFootball

Footy Headlines reports that Emirates intends to remove the Fly Better wording from its football sponsorship, leaving only the company logo, a decision driven by the sponsor rather than the club.

The shift is expected to cover all teams it backs, including Benfica, Real Madrid and Arsenal. Benfica supporters will not see any change on that front in 2026/27, with the new kits still carrying Fly Better.

The home shirt keeps the traditional red and introduces graphic elements inspired by the architecture of Benfica Campus. Lines in the design symbolise successive generations from Seixal, linking past, present and future.

The alternate kit uses a white base and features a pattern drawn from a passage of the Benfica anthem, reinforcing the club’s identity.

Both shirts are on sale now at 90 euros for members and 100 euros for the general public. If Emirates’ change is confirmed, it would only be reflected in subsequent seasons.
