Endrick helps push Ligue 1’s global audience to 520 million as China market grows

Ligue 1’s international reach surged in 2025-26, with an estimated cumulative audience of 520 million, lifted by Endrick’s arrival at OL and fresh partnerships in China.
According to L'Équipe, the LFP says audiences are at their highest since 2022, supported by coverage across 215 territories through 52 international partners.
The league estimates a 28% year-on-year rise after last season’s distribution issues in many countries. Match audiences grew 22%, and magazine shows rose 40%, led by Ligue 1 Show, produced by Ligue 1+.
New broadcaster deals in Mexico, Vietnam and sub-Saharan Africa played a major role. China delivered a record 93 million viewers, up 12%, powered by partnerships with CCTV and Migu.
Ligue 2 is carried in 45 territories by 14 international broadcasters. With partners including CY Sports in China and Outfield in Brazil, the investment fund that bought Le Mans in August 2025, its international audience more than doubled this season.
