Second-half goals from Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane secured England victory over Panama in their final World Cup group stage game.
The 2-0 win means England progress to the knockouts as group winners, and will likely face either Senegal, DR Congo or Ecuador in the round of 32.
Thomas Tuchel’s side, looking to bounce back from their disappointing goalless draw with Ghana, were frustrated again in the first half as they failed to find a way past the Panama defence.
But Bellingham broke the deadlock just after the hour mark, poking home from Bukayo Saka’s corner.

And Kane headed in from Bellingham’s cross five minutes later to become England’s all-time record goal scorer at World Cups.
England have, however, been dealt another injury worry at right-back, with Jarell Quansah, starting in place of the injured Reece James, forced off in the second half.
