According to Sunderland Echo, Everton have joined Sunderland and Leeds United in the race to sign Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu, who is valued at £20 million.
The 22-year-old is expected to draw strong interest this summer after Leicester’s relegation, with several clubs monitoring his situation ahead of a potential move.
Fatawu has been among Leicester’s brighter performers in a difficult campaign, building on the form that helped secure promotion in 2023-24. In the Championship he has produced nine goals and seven assists, and rates highly for dribbles, chances created and touches in the box.
His direct running and ball-carrying, coupled with end product, appeal to sides seeking pace and creativity out wide. Everton want to reinforce their attack and view him as a possible option, while Sunderland and Leeds are also tracking him.
There is growing expectation he could depart the King Power Stadium this summer. A recent post on social media thanked supporters and voiced disappointment at the season, a message some have taken as a hint at a move. Although he did not set out his intentions, it has increased speculation over his Leicester future.
