Everton travel to Molineux on Saturday aiming to make it three consecutive victories in all competitions.
After a shaky league start, David Moyes’ side have recorded back-to-back 2-0 wins in the league and cup. They will be confident of securing their first away victory of the season against a Wolves team that is yet to pick up a point.
David Moyes has been handed a major fitness boost with the news that left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko is available again. His return is a significant plus, as it allows James Garner to move from a makeshift defensive role back into his preferred position in central midfield.
Moyes is expected to name a side similar to the one that beat Brighton so convincingly last weekend. The attack is in excellent form; Iliman Ndiaye will be looking to score for a third consecutive game, while star loanee Jack Grealish will be aiming to add to the two assists he provided on his full debut.
Young striker Thierno Barry has shown glimpses of his talent in his last two starts and is expected to keep his place leading the line, despite a goal for Beto in midweek.
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner, Dewsbury-Hall; Ndiaye, Barry, Grealish.
The Premier League fixture takes place at Molineux Stadium on Saturday, 30th August 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm BST.
Due to the 3pm Saturday blackout, this match will not be broadcast live in the UK. Highlights will be shown on BBC’s Match of the Day.
