With the 2026/27 Bundesliga starting, here are Fantasy midfielders to target. According to BuLi News, picks cover budget, mid-range and premium options.
Budget: Dejan Ljubicic, 2.71m, is the joint-cheapest projected starter with Elversberg's Lukasz Poreba. He scored in Schalke's 5-2 DFB-Pokal win at Hallescher, but could move to wing-back if Kenan Karaman is fit to return Sunday.
Ezechiel Banzuzi, 4.14m, looks set to start as a number eight and could benefit from Leipzig's favourable opening run. Adil Aouchiche, 6.48m, delivered three goals and five assists in 14 after a January switch from Sunderland, and will hope to carry that into the top flight.
Mid-range: Yuito Suzuki, 7.73m, posted nine goals and seven assists in 41 and should start for Freiburg. Jae-sung Lee, 9.5m, is likely to start with Paul Nebel sidelined and has 30 goals and 25 assists in 171 Mainz games.
After an eye-catching loan at RB Leipzig from Brighton, Brajan Gruda, 12.63m, is back at the Bundesliga club and could take on a bigger role.
Premium: Konstatinos Karetsas, 15.7m, flashed his talent in Dortmund's 2-1 DFL-Supercup loss to Bayern, though the price looks steep for an 18-year-old at the outset.
Nadiem Amiri, 20.49m, the fifth-most expensive midfielder, produced 17 goals and four assists in 35 last season, then two goals and two assists in a 9-0 DFB-Pokal win at VfB Krieschow.
Michael Olise, 37.51m, topped Fantasy points last season and is hard to ignore. He recorded 53 goal involvements in 52 Bayern appearances in 2025/26.
