Felipe Longo could start for Corinthians at Fluminense on Wednesday, with Hugo Souza on Brazil duty and unavailable for the match.

According to Globo.com, the 21-year-old goalkeeper has recovered from an elbow ligament issue and will return to the squad after around 40 days. The fixture kicks off at 21:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã in the ninth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Cleared by the medical staff last Thursday, he is training without restrictions at CT Joaquim Grava, though he is still regaining confidence in his movements.

His only start this season came on the fifth of February, a 3-0 win over Capivariano at Neo Química Arena in the Campeonato Paulista. He was then sidelined from the meeting with Cruzeiro on the 25th of February.

Head coach Dorival Júnior also has the young Kauê available as an option in goal.
