Fanatik reports that Fenerbahçe executives Cihan Kamer and Oğuz Çetin have flown to London to lead high-level transfer talks, with Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins a leading target.

The move came immediately after paperwork for Mason Greenwood was completed. Greenwood travelled by private jet from Marseille to Manchester to visit family before his official arrival in Istanbul.

Fenerbahçe opened dialogue with Villa in the final week of June. No agreement is in place, but Watkins remains central to discussions as the club seek a high-profile partner up front.

While pursuing Premier League options, attention is turning to player sales. The squad has grown after marquee additions, including Greenwood, Nathan Aké and the return of Vedat Muriqi, so trimming is expected to meet financial targets.

Club figures are pleased with early business, having secured a left-sided centre-back, a right winger and an elite centre-forward ahead of their first competitive fixture. Focus now switches to the pitch, with preparations under way for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round against Polish side Górnik Zabrze.
