FIFA rules in favour of Thomas Meunier in Trabzonspor dispute | OneFootball

FIFA has ruled in favour of Thomas Meunier in his dispute with Trabzonspor over the activation of a release clause.

According to L'Équipe, Trabzonspor pursued the Belgian defender, contesting the clause’s activation.

Meunier joined Trabzonspor in February 2024. He then signed for LOSC on 19 July 2024 after that clause was triggered.

The player shared news of FIFA’s decision on social media.

Sidelined by a hamstring injury suffered in the 1-4 defeat at Strasbourg on 25 January, Meunier has missed LOSC’s last five matches.
