Although much of Argentina’s attacking play usually revolves around their captain, it was actually defender Lisandro Martínez who had their highest Attacking Score (8.30) in the Cabo Verde classic, thanks to his glorious assist for Lionel Messi's opener and then scoring with a superb finish of his own.

Messi himself had his side's top Creativity Score 8.06 thanks to his continued influence on proceedings, while the highest Defending Score of all players in the Round of 32 meeting in Miami went to Facundo Medina with 6.79.
