Fifteen placed under formal investigation after Paris clashes involving Nice supporters | OneFootball

The Paris prosecutor's office said on Monday that 15 people had been placed under formal investigation for aggravated intentional violence after violent clashes in the capital on Thursday night involving Nice supporters.

The clashes pitted several groups of supporters on the eve of the Coupe de France final, which Lens won 3-1 against Nice. Seven people were injured, including one whose condition remained life-threatening on Saturday night.

In total, 65 supporters were taken into police custody.

All those under formal investigation have been placed under judicial supervision.

Seven other suspects are due to be tried from Tuesday in an immediate appearance procedure, with four remanded in custody pending the hearing. A further 36 supporters are to be summoned before the criminal court in the coming weeks.
