Flamengo face a decisive Recopa Sul-Americana second leg against Lanús, with a possible lift as Jorginho nears fitness.

According to GE, his involvement will depend on his physical response in training. He has been working on the pitch and there is optimism he could feature.

Jorginho last played on the first of February against Corinthians in the Supercopa do Brasil. He departed in the second half and has not been named in squads since.

Flamengo must win by at least two goals to claim the Recopa. A one-goal win takes the tie to penalties. Any draw or defeat gives the trophy to the Argentine side.

Kick-off is 21:30 Brasília time on Thursday 26 at the Maracanã. ESPN on pay TV and Disney+, via streaming, will broadcast the match.
