Flamengo are finalising a new deal for Bruno Henrique that would run until December 2027, with an agreement in place and only minor details outstanding, according to Globo.com.
Alongside the term, the salary has already been settled. Talks accelerated in recent days after negotiations began late last month.
The forward joined in 2019 and, with 17 trophies, stands alongside Arrascaeta as the most decorated player in the club’s history. This season he has featured in 11 matches, scoring three and providing two assists.
Less than a month ago, club president Luiz Eduardo Baptista publicly backed the 35-year-old’s stay, saying the intention is to keep him for as long as he wishes to play. He highlighted the player’s importance to the group and alignment with Flamengo’s values.
Once Bruno Henrique’s renewal is completed, Flamengo will have three players with deals expiring in December 2026. Everton Cebolinha is the only one with a decided outcome and will not renew.
Centre-back Danilo, 34, is considering retirement at the end of the season, and the club is awaiting his decision. Alex Sandro’s future also remains unresolved.
