Flamengo, led by Leonardo Jardim, are level with Palmeiras for the most big wins among Brazilian clubs in 2026.

R10 Score reports that both sides have 20 across all competitions, with Bahia on 15 and Vasco on 11.

Flamengo won the Campeonato Carioca by beating Fluminense in the final. They are second in the Brasileirão and into the Copa Libertadores last 16 to face Cruzeiro.

Under Filipe Luís earlier this year, they lost the Recopa Sudamericana and the Supercopa do Brasil to Lanús and Corinthians respectively. They also exited the Copa do Brasil in the fifth phase against Vitória.

With the World Cup break, Flamengo will travel to Europe. Jardim’s team will stage a mid-season camp in Portugal, playing three friendlies in late July.
