Flamengo squad handed second day off in March FIFA window | OneFootball

Flamengo drew 1-1 with Corinthians in the eighth round on Sunday 22, and Leonardo Jardim’s staff have given the squad two days off.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the players rest on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24, then report back at Ninho do Urubu on Wednesday 25 afternoon.

Despite the draw, Flamengo moved into the G4 of the Campeonato Brasileiro. They currently have 14 points from six matches.

The March FIFA window began on Monday 23, pausing the domestic schedule and, by extension, Flamengo’s matches until the end of international friendlies.

Flamengo’s next game is set for 02 April against Red Bull Bragantino, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time at Estádio Municipal Cicero De Souza Marques in São Paulo.
